How do transfers work for .UK domain names?

For all domain names ending in .UK you'll simply need to ask your current registrar to transfer/release the domain name to our tag, EASY-INTERNET. These transfers are usually very quick and often free.

How do transfers work for most other domain names?

For most other extensions (such as .COM, .NET, .EU and others available above) you'll need to submit a transfer request. When you transfer a domain the following will happen:

• You make payment to us to transfer
• We submit a transfer request for the domain
• The administrative contact on the domain receives an authorisation email to approve the transfer
• Once approved the transfer will generally proceed and complete within 5 or 6 days
• When the transfer is complete your domain will be held with us and will be renewed for an additional year (hence why we require payment)

Domain extension not listed?

If your domain name extension isn't listed please contact us — we may still be able to transfer your domain name. Some low volume extensions have been intentionally left out to keep the form simple.
